Pots announced for EHF European Cup Men round 3 draw

Round 3 includes 32 teams from 24 countries; Greece and Slovenia both have three contenders in the mix, while North Macedonia, Romania, Serbia and Switzerland are all represented twice.

The participants have been divided over two pots of 16 teams each. Every team from pot 1 will be paired with an opponent from pot 2, with the home right in the first leg being awarded to the team that was drawn first.

Greece, Romania, Slovenia, Serbia and Switzerland all have teams in both pots. Since no country protection rule will be applied during the draw, national derbies for those teams are possible.

Round 3 opens with the first leg on 21/22 November, followed by the return leg a week later, on 28/29 November. The 16 aggregate winners advance to the Last 16, to be played in February 2027.
